36" x 48" (91cm x 121cm) Oil on Canvas (Unframed)

The first vehicle I learned to drive was a 18' Boston Whaler boat out of Cape Ann in Gloucester, Mass on the Atlantic ocean at age 12. During boat safety class they teach you "Pink sky at night, sailors delight; pink sky in morning, sailors warning" - the pink
sky and cirrus clouds in this piece indicate a change in weather coming in the near future, symbolising the changing nature of our life with a reminder to observe and look for the signs of these impending changes and to be prepared.
