How can something be so beautiful and so terrifying at the same time? This is why I paint the ocean. Its a constant reminder of the duality in life. Moments of pure bliss and magic balanced with loneliness and despair. Perhaps the answer is to always remain calm, breath and not fight the ocean. Not fight the flow of energy that is so much bigger than us.
