Q: Why are there staples in my shipping tube and how do I remove them?
A: The end caps are stapled onto the tubes so they dont come off in transport. You can use a small falt tool like a screwdriver or butter knife to bend open the staple legs and push the bag legs through the tube wall. You can also use the handle of a spoon or pliers to create leaverage on the lip of the tube cap and pop it off. From there you can grab the staple crown with pliers (or your fingers) and pull it out of the tube. You will want to fully remove the staples from one end or smash them down before you pull out the prints. The staples are strong and can cut you if precautions are not taken.

General FAQs

Q: Will you paint a commission for me?
A: Yes, I am open to some commissions, but please send me an email at [email protected] - and share a bit about the size and style you're looking for. I paint subject matter that is related to what you see on the site :)

Q: Do you donate artwork?
A: Yes! I like to donate to causes that help promote a clean ocean and environment.  drop me a line marchemeon {at} gmail {dot} com and lets talk about it ;) Typically we ask you to cover material costs for donated paintings and shipping costs.

Q: How do you handle shipping of original paintings?
A: Yes! We are happy to ship to you, shipping costs are separate from the costs on the site and will be billed separately.  I will contact you to make arrangements and payment for shipping.  Shipping in the US ranges from $500 to $1000 depending on the size of the painting. We typically have to construct a wooden crate to ship the work so its not damaged. Other alternatives for shipping include unstretching the finished canvas, shipping the painting in a tube and then re-stretching at the destination - this tends to be the way I ship International paintings. Feel free to email me with any specifici questions.
